About Sarah Glenn Interiors
Sarah Glenn is an interior decorator based in Atlanta, GA.
Her passion for design and art started early. Through family travel, Sarah Glenn was regularly exposed to new spaces, inspiring culture, and lots of artwork. Her family was always bringing back something for their home from these outings. Many a weekend was spent at museums, art galleries, folk art festivals, and antique markets. Unbeknownst to her at the time, her creative eye for interiors was already developing though these special experiences.
Becoming a home owner at a young age and managing a rental property business allowed Sarah Glenn to informally explore and develop her passion for interiors. Without a plan to pursue interior decorating as a career path, she continued to travel and pick up treasures along the way to add to her home.
After moving to New York and working as the executive assistant for a high profile celebrity chef with several restaurants, Sarah Glenn realized interior design was what truly excited her. Participating in the process of creating a restaurant as it evolves from concept ideation all the way to opening day shifted her perspective on design. She was attracted to the intentional nature of the selection process - how each and every decision is important to make the space feel and function just right. Sarah Glenn transitioned from working for the chef to assisting the design team at Brooklyn based hospitality design firm Hecho Inc. It was at Hecho where Sarah Glenn really developed her understanding of design and honed her sourcing and client management skills.
Upon moving to Atlanta with her husband in late 2016, she found herself spending much of her spare time advising friends and family on their homes. After assessing the amount of time and energy she was spending on these side projects, Sarah Glenn decided to turn this passion hobby into a full scale business and thus Sarah Glenn Interiors was born in early 2019.
